The newly-released samurai title also enlisted the art ofa motion-captured katana. Mocap is commonly seen in modern AAA gaming and realistic cinematic depictions as it allows for more seamless motion and realistic facial movement. The fluid combat featured inGhost of Tsushimais based on motion capture of real-life swordsmen, though the actor, Daisuke Tsuji, wasn’t fully motion-captured for every scene in the wayThe Last of Us 2did with its actors. But that didn’t stop him from getting excited when seeing Jin’s bare butt during an Onsen scene.

“Why am I saying ‘yas’ to my own butt?” Tsuji says as Jin steps into the hot bath. The Japanese-American actor is currently performing his own playthrough ofGhost of Tsushimavia a livestream on Twitch, where 154 people witnessed his gleeful reaction before he demanded that someone clip it.

And this isn’t the only game where fans can view a protagonist’s butt in all of its glory. Hideo Kojima’s newest bizarre action gameDeath Strandingreleased in November of last year, and many players were shocked to see just how many opportunities arose to perceive Norman Reedus’s buttocks, whether it be in much-too-detailed shower scenes or standing nude on a beach.

But many players aren’t too focused on Jin’s rear end. Most are spending hours playing around withGhost of Tsushima’s epic photo mode. Complimented by traditional Japanese scenery and stunning graphics, players are turning away from the main storyline and are instead spending their time taking majestic shots of Jin against the countryside.
