A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed two new artifact sets that will arrive in the upcoming version 4.0 which will introduce the new Fontaine region. Artifacts and weapons are the two core parts of a character build and they have the largest impact on their power on the field.

EachGenshin Impactcharacter can equip up to five different artifact pieces that provide various stats, from flat HP to increasing the character’s elemental damage. Developer HoYoverse introduces approximately one artifact set per update which usually fits the playstyle of one specific character from the roster.

The release of the brand-new Fontaine region got many fans excited, and beta leaks have already started revealing a lot of the upcoming content including new characters, weapons, and explorable terrain. So far, the game has officially announced three new playable characters, Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet, all of which will be available in the upcomingGenshin Impactversion 4.0. A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed two new artifact sets that will arrive in the same update. The first artifact set is named Golden Troup, and it will provide the following bonuses:

This set will be used by characters whose kit revolves around their Elemental skill such as thetwo Electro users Yae Miko or Fischl. Many fans claim that this could propel both characters to the S-tier since their playstyle in most team compositions consists of using their Elemental Skills before getting swapped out.

While these two characters seem like the obvious choices, this set can also be equipped on many other DPS orsupport characters inGenshin Impactsince it provides one of the largest Elemental Skill buffs in the game. The second set is called Marechaussee Hunter, and it will have the following effects:

Many fans in the comment section claim that this artifact set will be the go-to choice for some of the upcoming five-star DPS units who rely on using Normal and Charged Attacks to dish out damage. This set can also be used by many of thecurrentGenshin ImpactDPS unitssuch as Cyno, Razor, or Itto, all of whom depend on their Normal Attacks for their damage output.
