RecentGenshin Impactleaks have revealed more information about new playable characters that might join the playable roster in the upcoming months. Each character in the playable roster belongs to one of the four currently revealed regions: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru.
The Sumeru arc is slowly coming to an end which means that it’s time for the official storyline to go back to some of the previously released regions. Over the last couple of weeks, credibleGenshin Impactleakers have hinted that the upcoming quests will lead Travelers back to the Geo nation.

A new post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit gives more information about the upcoming Liyue and Fontaine characters. According to the leak, HoYoverse will soon introduce two new playable units that belong to the Liyue region, a five-star female and a four-star male character. The five-star will have a Cryo Vision which would make her the fifth Cryo user from this region. These characters could be a part of the rumoredLiyue expansion that should drop before Fontaine. SomeGenshin Impactplayers have noticed that the description for the Echoes of an Offering artifact set mentioned another port in the Geo region besides Liyue Harbor. Fans expect it to be located in the western part of Liyue and serve as a connection between the Geo nation and Fontaine.
The leak also mentioned that Fontaine should introduce seven female and two male five-star characters. Over the last couple of weeks, credible leakers have revealed the models for10 newGenshin Impactcharactersthat are apparently tied to Fontaine. These leaks should still be taken with a grain of salt since the only confirmed characters are the Hydro Archon Focalors and the two siblings, Lyney and Lynette. Lyney is rumored to be a five-star Pyro bow user while Lynette is expected to have a lower four-star rarity.
According to the post, one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, Arlecchino will become part of the playable roster during the Fontaine arc. Previous leaks have already confirmed that she will be one of themain villains in the upcoming Fontaine Archon Quest. Arlecchino, also known as “The Knave” runs the House of Heart orphanage in the Snezhnaya region.
This character, whose appearance was revealed in the “A Winter Night’s Lazzo” trailer is thefourth most powerful member of the Fatui Harbingers. There is still no reliable information about her kit which means that players will have to wait forGenshin Impact’s 4.0 beta phase to get more details about Arlecchino.
