A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed more details about one of the most important characters in Fontaine, the Hydro Archon. The official storyline has not revealed a lot of information about this character other than that she’s known as the God of Justice. According to the leak, the Archon’s first name starts with “Fo” and her middle name is “De” which led many players to believe that her full name is Focalors de Fontaine. Many comments have pointed out that her name will most likely sound French considering that the wholeFontaine region is inspired by the country of France. The leak also revealed that the Hydro Archon will have the ability to summon and control special creatures. Players suspect that these will be water summons which would fit her theme since she’s obviously a Hydro character.

PreviousGenshin Impactleakshave been suggesting that the character’s Elemental Burst will be related to gravity and fans have been speculating how it could impact other characters like Xiao whose kit revolves around being able to jump higher than other characters during his Bane of All Evil and deal damage with his Plunging Attacks.

Focalors' burst will slowly chip away from her teammates' HP while providing a powerful buff.Genshin Impacthas been experimenting with a similar concept with theirrecent Dendro elemental reactions. For example, the Dendro cores created by the Bloom elemental reaction can also deal significant damage to the active characters on the field.

This could mean that players will need to pair the Hydro Archon with a powerful healer or support in order to compensate for this HP debuff. SomeGenshin Impactfan-made theories have been suggesting that, just like the four current Archons,Focalors will probably give away her Hydro Gnosisto stick to her ideals.

Genshin Impactis available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
