Summary

A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed more details about HoYoverse’s 3rd-anniversary event and the rewards that players will get. The game was released back in September 2020 with only one major region available at the time, the Anemo nation known as Mondstadt.

Since then, almost every otherGenshin Impactupdate has been introducing new playable terrain and after months of speculation, HoYoverse has finally introduced the long-awaited Fontaine region to the game. HoYoverse’s most popular title is slowly reaching its anniversary which means that players can expect some generous rewards in the upcoming months.

A newGenshin Impactleakhas revealed more information about an upcoming event which will apparently be part of the next anniversary. According to the leak, this will be a new login event which means that players will be able to get rewards by simply logging into the game at least once a day. The event will be named Admiring the Flowing Moonlight, and it will allow players to get up to 10 pulls across 7 days. Just like last year, it will probably include some additional rewards such asEnhancement Ores and other XP materials.

Many comments hope that HoYoverse does not repeat the same mistake they did on their first anniversary when the 7-day login event was the only notable improvement besides the regular stuff which was deemed unacceptable by the community. The backlash caused the developer to reward its players with 10 additional pulls, Resin, and a unique glider. With therecent expansions of the Standard Banner,Genshin Impactfans have been asking HoYoverse to allow them to get one five-star character from this banner for free.

Last year, the game modified its update schedule so that version 3.1 drops around the same time as the anniversary which means that Travelers can expect a similar release date withGenshin Impactupdate 4.1. The game has already confirmed two new characters Neuvillette and Wriothesley for this update.

The two are rumored to be five-star units which could mean that 4.1 will not introduce any four-star characters. Both of them are expected to be offensive characters who can fitthe main DPS or sub-DPS roles. They won’t be the only additions in the update as recent leaks revealed that a new subregion will be added withGenshin Impactupdate 4.1, probably in a form of an island.

Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
