Following the recent release of the Dendro Archon Nahida inside ofGenshin Impact, players have lamented a weird idle animation, which appears to be in line for a fix from HoYoverse. Although Genshin Impact is already a massive success for HoYoverse, things have seemingly gone into overdrive for the most recent version 3.2 update. There appears to have been a lot ofexcitement about the arrival of Nahida to the game, as the first run banner has seen huge spikes of activity.
Including the previously mentioned Nahida, Version 3.2’s first run banner also includes the Pyro DPS character Yoimiya. The popularity of both characters have resulted in theGenshin Impactbanner breaking revenue records for HoYoverse, with sales continuing to grow each day following the launch. While Yoimiya isn’t a new character, it seems most fans were eagerly awaiting the Dendro Archon who has since come to be known as one of the strongest of the four currently released Archons so far. It also helps that she’s currently the only 5 star Dendro support character, a must-have for team compositions that rely on one of the new Dendro elemental reactions.

Even with all of her popularity, Nahida’s release wasn’t a perfect one as someGenshin Impactfans were upset that her idle animation doesn’t follow the patternof the previous Archons, who create a sphere using their respective element. Instead, Nahida sits on a Dendro-type swing for about a minute, though as some found out, this animation also has a pretty interesting bug associated with it.
By standing on a ledge, such as a bridge, players wait for Nahida to enter her swing idle animation. Using a friend or an alternative account to push the swinging Nahida, she’ll begin to float forward through the air with her speed based on how hard she was pushed or if the player used a skill like Xiao’s Lemniscatic Wind Cycling. As fun as this may be, its unintended behavior asGenshin Impactsubreddit user Homiyo found out when the bug appeared on the official HoYoverse Known Issues thread. A fix is on the way, it’s just a matter of when.
While Nahida appears to be one of Genshin Impact’s most popular characters, that success looks like it could continue in Version 3.3 later this month. Having shown up multiple times through the game’s story,The Wanderer aka Scaramouche is set to finally become playablewith the version 3.3 banner. The character has shown to be a villain, not only due to being one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, but also because they’ve deceived the main character and stolen a precious item from Yae Miko.
Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
