How To Unlock Apep Weekly Boss In Genshin Impact
To locate the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis and unlock the Realm of BeginningsDomain inGenshin Impact, playersmust complete Act 2 of the Nahida Story Quest. Throughout the quest, the Traveler, Paimon, andNahidaembark on a mission to rescue Apep, the Dendro Dragon.
The Realm of Beginnings Domain is concealed underground and can be accessed through two entrances. The first entrance is situated beneath the Bayt Al-Sukr Waypoint, which is located to the southeast of the Domain. Players can leap down and enter the cave, following the only path to reach the Domain.
To discover the second entrance, players can teleport to the Desert of Hadramaveth Waypoint and look towards the west. A large entrance is clearly visible, which leads inside to the Domain.
How To Beat Guardian of Apep’s Oasis In Genshin Impact
TheGuardian of Apep’s Oasis has three phasesduring itsweekly boss fightinGenshin Impact. Players begin by facing theWarden of the Last Oasisphase, progress to theHeart of Oasisphase, and finally, confront theWarden of Oasis Prime.

Although players may be concerned about the weekly boss’s animations, which include invincible states where it dives underground during combat, just likeSetekh Wenut inGenshin Impact, it is actually the opposite.The Guardian of Apep’s Oasis is a highly aggressive boss that is unable to tank damage properly. With the right party and a grasp of its mechanics, players can quickly complete the weekly boss challenge.
Warden Of The Last Oasis
The weekly boss fight starts with the Warden Of The Last Oasis phase inGenshin Impact. This is the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis in its weakened state and players can notice that from how weak the boss’ attacks are and how much damage it’s receiving.
However, there are two attacks that players should be aware of during the first phase. Firstly, whenthe boss starts slamming the ground and summoning an endless number of spinning spheres, players shouldavoid themorhave a shielder to tank the damage. This is because players will be stunned for a while if they get hit by a bunch of these spheres.
The other attack to watch out for iswhen the Guardian’s hands start to glowas they send them into the ground. Shortly after, a couple of giant hands will start appearing to hit the active character.This attack is easy to avoid, or as always, a shielder can be used for extra protection.
Heart Of Oasis
After defeating the Warden of the Last Oasis, the Heart of Oasis will fall down andmonsters will start gathering around it. Enemies will prioritize the Heart and attempt to deplete its meter. Players can defend the meter byquickly defeating the waves of monstersapproaching the Heart. They can alsocontrol the monsters using Anemo abilities or trigger Elemental Reactions such as Frozen or Overloaded.
Some of the monsters have unique move sets and attacks. For instance, some will spin towards the Heart and cannot be stopped byAnemo or Elemental reactions.

One particular monster is more dangerous than the rest. It appears as a small creature resembling a scallop andmoves toward other monsters to consume them. Once it eats another monster, it grows bigger and becomes immune to crowd control effects. It then aggressively moves towards the active character, draining their HP quickly.
Some monsters would get a Dendro shield, which protects them from damage and crowd control effects. To remove their shields,target the base monster that generates the shieldfield. Apart from these monsters, all others are relatively weak and can be easily defeated during the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis phase inGenshin Impact.
Warden Of Oasis Prime
The third and final phase of the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis weekly boss fight inGenshin Impactis the most challenging of all three. As indicated by the boss’s name, it is the Warden of Oasis in its prime form, so players should expect the most difficult attacks. While it does have some different movesets, the weekly boss behaves close to its first phase and launches very similar attacks.
One of its new attacks is when the Warden prepares a bunch of Dendro entities around it, then shoots them all to hit the active character. Players can easily avoid it by dashing or by using one ofGenshin Impact’s shielders, likeZhongliorLayla.
The most dangerous attack in the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis final phase is when the boss goes on a rampage of attacks, with Dendro bubble shields spawning around the battlefield. This signals the Warden’s intention to launch a devastating strike, capable of dealing great damage. The only way to avoid this is bytaking shelter inside one of the Dendro bubbles.
Warden Of The Last Oasis inGenshin Impactis not a hard boss to beat, and players can avoid all its troubles by just bringing a shielder while other DPS units can take the weekly boss down easily.
