Aranyaka is the main World QuestGenshin ImpactTravelers have to complete in Sumeru. It consists of several chapters, each with different puzzles and systems. However, they do share similarities, where they’re all connected, and they all involve Aranara.
To start the journey with these forest creatures,Genshin Impactplayers must first trigger the first part of the Aranyaka. This will open the rest of the chapters, and people are free to play whichever they prefer first. However, after following the questline, Travelers should soon realize that full completion of the chapter will be marked with a checkmark on their Forest Journal. To finish Chapter 1 and get a checkmark on the Aranyaka, here’s what players need to do.

How To Start Chapter 1 Of The Aranyaka In Genshin Impact
To trigger the Aranyaka: Part I - Woodland Encounterquest inGenshin Impact, players need to findRananorth of Vimara Village, where the Forest Watcher is being attacked by some fungi. Getting close to Rana’s location will cause a blue exclamation mark to appear on the map.
After a series of events,Rana inGenshin Impactwill eventually fall sickunder the influence of Marana (The Withering). To help her, players must obtain theBija, an item made of memories. This will lead to Travelers having to help several Aranara, so they can have the Festival Utsava. Afterward, though, chapter 1 of the Aranyaka won’t be marked as complete.
How To Finish Chapter 1 Of The Aranyaka In Genshin Impact
To get a checkmark on chapter 1 of theAranyaka, players need to take care of the “bad guy” in Vimara Village.
After finishing chapter 2 of the Aranyaka and witnessing Rana getting a Vision, return to the village and findAlphonso. While recounting everything that happened, chooseSudabehandKavusto answer correctly.
As the main character knows that Alphonso is the bad guy, the protagonist will choose to send Paimon away.
Soon enough, players will be given two options:Battle AlphonsoorTell him to leave.
If players choose to battle, then they need to fight the Snezhnayan spy. Doing this will grant an instant check mark on Chapter 1 of the Aranyaka, so this is the easier route to take.
However, for those who choose to let Alphonso flee, this will lead to some extra steps to take. Once the spy leaves, theGenshin Impacttravelermustteleport to the Statue of the Seven in Old Vanarana. Then, walk east until Travelers encounter some Rifthounds. Defeat them, then investigate the glowing spot on the ground.
After picking up the Tattered Paper, the quest will be completed, and players will get the check mark on Chapter 1 of the Aranyaka, indicating that the questline is complete.
TheEver an Outcast in the Forestachievement will be granted for driving Alphonso away. ThisGenshin Impactachievementrewards players with five shinyPrimogems.
