One of the hurdlesGenshin Impactplayers will encounter as they attempt to level their characters, talents, and artifacts is the finite amount of original resin they have available.Genshin Impactplayers will find that while it may be rewarding to increase a specific character’s level and talents, the domain grinding that is typically required can grow tiresome.
Developer miHoYo has attempted to alleviate this grind through the implementation of thecondensed resinsystem. Through the crafting of condensed resin at alchemy stations, players are able to use the original resin costs of two domain runs, to obtain double the rewards from a single run.

As a result, players are able to significantly cut down on the overall time they spend farming. Instead of having to run eight domains in a single day, players will only have to run four. While this system is extremely beneficial, players will be required to obtain Crystal Cores before they are able to craft condensed resin.
For players unfamiliar with this item, Crystal Cores are obtained from either Anemo, Geo, or Cryo Crystalflies. Crystalflies can be found throughout the world of Teyvat, however, there are several locations that players can frequent if they want to optimize their farming.
The first farming location can be found at the WindriseStatue of the Sevenin Mondstadt. At this location, players will typically find 6 anemo crystalflies surrounding the large tree next to the statue.
The second farming location is theDomain of Guyunin Southern Liyue. After teleporting to the domain, players will find up to 8 geo crystalflies around the domain entrance and outside the cave.
The third farming location is the Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern Domain found northeast ofMt. Aozang. From the domain entrance, players must head southwest before reaching a breakable rock wall next to a toad statue. After breaking the wall, players will find up to 8 geo crystalflies in the cave on the opposite side.
In addition to condensed resin, crystal cores are also used in the crafting of Frostsheild and Windbarrier Potions. Frostshield Potions are used to boost all party members' Cryo resistance by 25% for 300 seconds, while Windbarrier Potions are used to boost all party members' Anemo resistance by 25% for 300 seconds.
Crystal Cores can also be received as gifts during special in-game events with developer miHoYo having recently awarded players 10 Crystals Cores on both Xiao and Fischls birthday.
