A Reddit user named SpiritCake16 has created two splash art designs for one of the most anticipated Fontaine characters named Navia. There is not a lot of official information about Navia other than that she’s the president of an organization named Spina di Rosula. While HoYOverse is yet to confirm her element, it’s safe to assume that she will be a newGeo user inGenshin Impactdue to her overall yellow/orange color theme. The whole design was well-received in the game’s community as the post attracted almost 4k upvotes on the game’s main subreddit with many fans praising SpiritCake16’s attention to detail. Some comments have pointed out that at first, they thought that this concept was an official splash art for Navia.
A lot of fans seem excited about the fact that HoYoverse will finally introduce a new Geo character after Yunjin who arrived way back in update 2.4. Navia is expected to have a five-star rarity due to herimportance to Fontaine’s main storyline. During her first appearance in one of the promo videos named “Overture Teaser: The Final Feast”, Navia can be seen floating through the air with the help of an umbrella which led many players to believe that she could have a unique gliding animation.
However, players will need to be patient when it comes to Navia’s official release since HoYoverse’s recent announcement confirmed that she won’t join the playable roster anytime soon. The game’s official social media accounts have already confirmed thatGenshin Impactupdate 4.1will add two new characters, Neuvillete and Wriothesley.
This means that even if Navia is confirmed to arrive in 4.2, players will still have to wait a couple of months since this version of the game is expected to drop around mid-November, at least according toGenshin Impact’s usual scheduleof releasing new updates every 6–7 weeks.
Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
