AGenshin Impactfan has shared an interesting fan art that shows how three popular characters, Jean, Diluc, and Kaeya, looked like when they were younger. The start of each new playthrough requires players to visit the popular city Mondstadt where they meet their first adventure companions.
The Pyro user Amber is the first character that introduces herself to the Traveler and Paimon, and she leads them to the City of Freedom. This is whereGenshin Impactplayers befriend several other characters which include the Acting Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonious known as Jean, one of the knights named Kaeya, and Diluc, the owner of Mondstadt’s tavern and the famous Dawn Winery.

Reddit user nochumoon has created an interesting concept that reimagines Kaeya, Diluc, and Jean as kids playing on the outskirts of Mondstadt. These three characters play a very important role in the Prologu Archon Chapter which was the firstmain quest line inGenshin Impact. The post reached over 6.6k upvotes with many fans claiming that it’s hard to imagine that three such serious characters used to be cheerful kids back in the day. As the Acting Grandmaster, Jean is one of the most important characters in Mondstadt right now and she takes her new position very seriously.
Jean looks up to the legendary gladiator Vennessa as her role model which is why she can often be seen sitting nearthe Great Tree in Windrisewhich is rumored to be the location where Vennessa ascended to Celestia. When it comes to her power on the battlefield, Jean is considered an A-tier support who can fit multiple team comp types since she uses the Anemo element which can hardly interfere with other elemental reactions.
Mondstadt’s story quests revealed that Jean and Diluc share the same vision of protecting the City of Freedom. This Pyro user, also known as the Darknight Hero, is known as one of the most powerful characters in the Anemo nation. He used to be amember of the Knights of Favoniousbut after his father’s demise as a result of using Delusions, a former member of the organization name Inspector Eroch ordered Diluc to cover up the incident.
This made him lose faith in the organization, and he left the knights. Even though Diluc and Kaeye don’t get along, the official storyline confirmed that they are brothers asKaeya was adopted by Diluc’s fatherafter being abandoned in front of the Dawn Winery by his biological dad.
