Genshin Impactplayers will be able to unlock Gorou by completing the main event in 4.6. With version 4.6 ofGenshin Impactnow imminent, the HoYo team has revealed all the new content included in the latest update. It’s confirmed that Arlecchino and Lyney will have an increased drop rate for three weeks. As in previous versions, a roster of weapons and four-star reruns will be added to limited-time banners.
Genshin Impactwill soon release the version 4.6 update, which reportedly features more content than 4.5. As with previous updates, it will be divided into two parts, each promoting different rosters of characters. Based on calculations,Genshin Impact4.6 will be concluded in June 2024.
As confirmed by the developers,Genshin Impactversion 4.6 will bring the “Iridescent Arataki Rockin for Life Tour de Force of Awesomeness” event that players can complete to get Gorou and Primogem rewards. This time-limited event, which will be available between May 5 and 27, includes three gameplay modes Travelers must complete to collect Iridescence Tour Tickets. These tickets can be used to unlock Gorou, Nightwind Horn, Talent Materials, Crown of Insight, and other rewards.
Gorou is a Viable Choice for Genshin Impact’s Geo Teams
Genshin Impact’s Gorouis a four-star Geo unit whose elemental skill delivers a degree of AoE damage. The character becomes more powerful at higher constellations, boosting his allies' defense and increasing the survivability of the whole party. He fits into the support role for Geo-based teams that feature the likes of Arataki Itto, Albedo, or Zhongli.
Speaking of four-star characters,Genshin Impact’s Freminet, Lynette, and Xiangling will finally receive their reruns in version 4.6. As revealed by the HoYo team, they will be both on “The Hearth’s Ashen Shadow” and “Conjuring Chiaroscuro” banners with an increased drop rate. In addition to these characters, several event-exclusive weapons, like Crimson Moon’s Resemblance, The First Great Magic, The Dockhand’s Assistant, Portable Power Saw, Dragon’s Bane, Eye of Perception, and Favonius Warbow, will be available to claim in version 4.6.
Aside from rerun banners for Lynette, Freminet, and Xiangling,Genshin Impactversion 4.6will promote a pair of five-star units, Arlechino and Lyney, that have their unique skills. Arlecchino’s skill set revolves around the Fond of Life mechanic, which transforms healing into damage. She takes on the role of on-field DPS thanks to her immense damage output. Lyney, on the other hand, uses a bow as his primary weapon and delivers a degree of AoE damage. Both characters will be promoted between April 24 and May 14.
