It’s tax season. For some people in the US, that means having to pay a big bill to the government. For others, it means getting a refund because they overpaid on their taxes throughout the year. GameStopwill be hosting two Tax Day sale events. The first runs from February 28 and concludes on March 6. Then the second event will run from March 7 to March 13. Nintendo games rarely get discounted, so while theBreath of the Wilddeal isn’t all that significant, it still gives people the rare chance to get the game at a lower price.

Other Nintendo Switch games will be on sale, along with a variety of PlayStation and Xbox titles. Some of the examples includeCyberpunk 2077for $39.99 andGrand Theft Auto 5for $19.99. Those interested in the GameStop Tax Day sale can also pick up newer games likeAssassin’s Creed Valhallaat a discount, with the open world game from Ubisoft available for $34.99 while the promotion is live.
As far as hardware goes, GameStop customers can pick up accessories like the PS4 Back Button and Nintendo Switch Pro controllers at a lower price than usual. And if they purchase aNintendo Switch Lite console, they get a free collector’s set ofSuper Mario16 oz glasses. Those looking to trade in consoles they already own can get an extra $50 trade-in credit when they trade any Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X systems.
And finally,GameStop customerscan get a free clearance t-shirt if they purchase a $12 t-shirt during the Tax Day sale event.
