Forza Horizon 5is getting a substantial new content update later this week, on September 15, with a bunch of new cars, car customizations, character customizations, and more. The latest in a long line of free additions to an already massive open-world racing title, this update’s headlining feature is the new seasonal Horizon Road Trip adventure, inviting players to explore Mexico anew.
The launch ofForza Horizon 5’s 12th batch of seasonal content is all about touring vehicles, with some of this season’s Championship events being longer than ever before. Players can expect to unlock the five all-new vehicles through less restrictive PR stunts, too. Generally, Playground Games seems to be allowing players to tackle seasonal progression using a greater array of cars from their garages than usual, though the races may be more involved than they usually are, too.

There are three new cars being added to the game’s considerable roster of vehicles: Audi RS e-tron and RS 7 models from 2021, as well as the novel Lynk & Co 03+. At the same time, 1991’s Bentley Turbo R and 2018’s NISMO Sentra are now accessible as well, returning from olderForza Horizongames. Specifically, ifHorizongames appeal to collectors and casual drivers,Motorsportought to focus on providing an in-depth simulation of each one of its vehicles.Forza Motorsport 7had over 700 unique cars before the game was done, which may be a tall ask for a hyper-detailed sim-cade.
Whatever the case may be,Forza Horizon 5is slowly but certainly adding more vehicles to its roster over time, making it likely that it will eventually grow to become one of the biggest, most comprehensive, andbest open-world racing games of all time. More cars and body kits are sure to be coming in the future, too, but players should have plenty to work with once Season 12 launches on September 15.
