One of the reasons Epic Games' battle royaleFortnitehas become as big as it has in recent years is thanks to the dedicated community of streamers and content creators who focus all of their energy on playing the game. Arguably the most notable name among them is Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, who received his ownFortnitecharacter skinas part of the game’s “Icon Series.” Today, Australian streamer Kathleen “Loserfruit” Belsten joined him in this club of icons with her own skin, bag, pickaxe, and emote becoming available in the shop.

The Icon Series is a “celebration” ofFortnitehaving the “artistic vision, personality, and attitude of top creators around the world” according to Epic Games' post announcing the Loserfruit content becoming available today. Belsten, who has 1.4 million followers on Twitch and over 450,000 followers on Twitter as of this writing, has been anticipating the release of her in-game content for some time.

Originally, Belsten’sFortnitecrossover was meant to start at the beginning of the month, butits release was delayed alongsideFortniteSeason 3after worldwide Black Lives Matter protests began in the wake of the killing of George Floyd. Last week Season 3: Splashdown finally released after multiple delays prior to the protests, so it only makes sense that Belsten would finally have her time in the spotlight as well.

WithFortnite’s primarily aquatic-themed content has come new mechanics and unlockable items as part of a Battle Pass. One piece of that content is another skin based off a real-life figure, theDCEU’s Aquaman modeled after actor Jason Momoa. This skin was anticipated for some time due to leaks, but when Season 3 began it was revealed to be one of the headlining pieces of it.

Belsten is not the onlyFortnitecontent creator who has been in the news as of late.YouTuber SerpentAU was bannedfrom the game this week following allegations of cheating by using aimbots and “macros” being levied against him, leading to his firing from the competitive team Overtime Gaming as well.

As players try their hands at new content introduced intoFortniteSeason 3, such as water skiing behind loot sharks, Loserfruit fans should be happy to have the opportunity to represent the popular streamer. Epic Games will continue to introduce more content to keep those players coming back, as leaks have already suggestedFortnite’s map will change by draining its flooded regionsover time.

Fortniteis available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
