Just for a few weeks, players can find Snowball Launchers all over the Battle Royale island. As part of the Winterfest quests these next few days, players will have to eliminate at least five players using this weapon. It’s
pretty powerful so it’s definitely worth looking for. This guide will tell players exactly where to find Snowball Launchers inFortnite.
How To Get A Snowball Launcher
Until June 25, 2025, at 9 AM ET, the Snowball Launcher will replace the Rocket Launcher in-game. This means that it’ll be impossible to get a Rocket Launcher in any way, shape, or form, during this time. The Snowball Launcher works slightly differently even though it requires the same ammo: rockets; the Snowball Launcher throws grenades that explode right after hitting the floor, rather than sending out rockets that follow a straight line until they explode on impact.
The grenades that come out of the Snowball Launcher aren’t as powerful as those that players can find on the ground - they only cause about half the amount of damage, but they don’t take as long to explode.
Just like the Rocket Launcher, the Snowball Launcher is pretty difficult to find although the spawn rate might’ve gone up during the event.Snowball Launchers can be found as floor loot, inside chests,Oathbound chests, and supply drops. There is one way in which the player can guarantee that they’ll get one during a match; there’s one character on the map that sells them.
Scrapknight Jules sold Rocket Launchers before the update and now, with the Winterfest event, she’s started selling Rocket Launchers.She has five of these weapons in stock and they cost 600 gold each- it’s enough for an entire squad.Players can find Scrapknight Jules in the workshop, near the Upgrade Bench, at Faulty Splits, one of the named locationson the new map.
