One fan went on Reddit to bring people’s attention to the problem. The post contains a video showing two different players running through theFall Mountainmini-game together. The players' footage is side-by-side, so viewers can see what each player is seeing from their perspective. From the very beginning of the video, the issue is clear: each player sees themself in the lead throughout the entire game.
When they reach the crown to determine the victor, their own game footage shows them both to be winning against the other. However, it seems that the red character was in the lead the entire time, and the blue character was eliminated. From the viewer’s perspective, it’s impossible to tell which player is in the lead until the game proclaims the winner in the end.
The post garnered many views, and Fall Guys fans in the comments that this perspective answers some questions about some mechanical issues in the game. Some players said that they had been tail-grabbed when the opponent seemed to be several in-game feet away, and this footage put it in perspective for them. Many fans had an issue with the game’s lag, especially since some missed getting the nearly impossibleInfallible achievementdue to this bug. Mediatonic has not made any official statements thus far.
