David Beckham has partnered up with EA Sports and designed, in collaboration with Reuben Dangoor, an exclusiveFIFAUltimate Team kit to raise funds and awareness for UNICEF as eSoccer Aid marks its return for a second year running.
ThisFIFA 22exclusive Ultimate Team kits design is said to commemorate a special week for David Beckham as, 25 years ago, he made his full England debut vs. Moldova in what turned out to be a 3-0 win for England. Fans can now relive some of that history made by the likes of Paul Gascoigne and Alan Shearer by owning this special white and blue UNICEF kit inFIFA 22. The kit pays tribute to David Beckham’s infamous number 7 shirt which Ultimate Team fans can take one step further by donning the kit whilst playing withDavid Beckham’s frightening ICON Ultimate Team card.

In addition to commemorating David Beckham’s England debut, the kit is also being released to raise vital funds for eSoccer Aid for UNICEF, an onlineFIFA 22tournament that has been announced to return for a second year running. Last year’s tournament saw collaborations fans never thought they would see, like Robbie Williams taking on Usain Bolt onFIFA 20, and Liam Payne from One Direction taking on Hollywood star Jame McAvoy. This year’s tournament should boast a similar star-studded lineup and will take place on 30th September, with all proceeds donated to UNICEF.
This is not the first timeFIFAhas released a kit in their game for charity, or the first timeEA has been charitable in its actions. InFIFA 21, EA Sports collaborated with KLABU to release KLABU Kalobeyei Spirit home and away strips to support their cause to provide refugee camps in predominately Africa with access to sport and sporting equipment. In addition to the kit release, a match was organized between UK-based former refugees and was attended by the KLABU ambassador and former Bolton Wanderers player Fabrice Muamba, who was a former refugee himself.
The kit will be available inFIFA 22as an unlockable item by tunning into theFIFA 22eSoccer Aid for UNICEF stream on Twitch. Many Ultimate Team fans will no doubt be excited to own this piece of history in-game so the kit should positively influence the stream by raising money for charity and giving fans something exclusive to look forward to.
FIFA 22launches on October 1 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
