Elden Ringis absolutely packed with memorable bosses, and part of what makes these foes so iconic is their unique sets of armor. However, someElden Ringfans have been curious about what these bosses look like without their protective gear, and a YouTuber has provided them with the answers.

The content creator in question goes by the name Zullie the Witch, and they have already done some interesting work withElden Ring’s NPCs. In their recent videos, Zullie has shown players how to copy the faces of the game’s NPCs, allowing them to fully cosplay as their favorite characters during their playthroughs. However, someElden Ringfans wanted to look more like the game’s bosses, something that inspired Zullie to look underneath the armor of the game’s Demigods and other key figures.

While Zullie the Witch was unable to provide fans with the facedata values to use withinElden Ring’s character creator, as the bosses lack facedata, the YouTuber’s dive behind the armor resulted in a fascinating video that is absolutely worth a watch. During the five minutes of footage, Zullie the Witch “unmasks” several bosses, with a few in particular standing out due to their strange face models or the oddly shaped bodies that they hide below their iconic armor.

Zullie the Witch not only shows Ranni without her hat, but confirms that there is nothing to see behind her closed eye. Radahn looks horrifying without his helmet, appearing a bit like Gorr the God Butcher fromThor: Love and Thunder. A neat moment in the video sees Zullie showing viewers that Rykard’s face is present on the great serpent prior to the mid-fight transformation, while another cool moment provides a look atMaliketh’s dog-like bodywithout any armor equipped whatsoever.

The video touches on some other, non-boss characters like the blacksmith Master Hewg, who uses an enemy model’s face - something that is not immediately obvious thanks to his beard. The same thing can be said for Goldmask once his iconic face covering is stripped away, though Master Iji does have a distinct face and hair when compared to other trolls. After confirmation that Kale has no lower face under his mask, the video concluded with some discussion aboutMelina. Much like Ranni, her main model has nothing under the closed eye, though her other model does have two different colored eyes - with one showing a storm.

This video, much like Zullie the Witch’s other content, should prove incredibly fascinating for fans ofFromSoftware gamesand the design process behind them. While there is plenty of lore to delve into for each of the developer’s games, it is also worth appreciating all the effort the studio puts into its character models.

Elden Ringis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
