A user named NuFather0 shows the climax of their fight against the Fire Giant, with the boss close to defeat. It looks like NuFather0 needs to hit him a couple of times to gain victory, and they have over half of their health left.Equipped with the Dark Moon Greatsword, NuFather0 dodges the Fire Giant’s attacks and tries to unsuccessfully hit his feet. The boss appears to be on top of a rock, so the user spams jumping attacks to reach him, before finally managing to land a hit.

At this point, theFire Giant’s healthis barely visible, but NuFather0 also has low hp. Curiously, they don’t have a shield equipped, and a more careful approach could have proved helpful in this scenario. Regardless, NuFather0 continues to avoid all of his attacks and reaches the enemy’s legs, only to go for a jumping attack and completely miss the boss. NuFather0 pays heavily for this mistake as an area-of-effect fire attack depletes their remaining health.

It looks like the player wanted to stylishly end the fight instead of taking a more efficient approach, and other users point to the several mistakes they made throughout the battle. Many gamers appear to agree that NuFather0 threw this encounter, with their choice of repeatedly trying jumping attacks being a significant source of criticism.

The Dark Moon Greatsword’s heavy and charge attacks fire projectiles at the enemy, which could have easily defeated the Fire Giant in a few hits. Many users also question NuFather0’s reluctance to use throwable projectiles, such as daggers, which could’ve helpedbeat thisElden Ringbosswith relative ease. The user probably panicked, as they seemed to have run out of healing flasks. Still, if they managed to get the Fire Giant this low, taking a more careful and planned approach should give them the victory within the next few attempts.
