Bandai Namco is continuing to add more combatants toDragon Ball FighterZ,and two notable characters are joining the roster soon. AV-Jump scan leak outed Super Baby 2as one of those upcoming playable fighters, hyping fans of the GT series. Now, thanks to an all-new trailer, the publisher has officially announced the character’s release date, and it’s right around the corner.

Kefla, Ultra Instinct Goku, and Master Roshi have all become playable fighters sinceDragon Ball FighterZlaunched in 2018, bolstering the roster with powerful new options for players. Both Super Saiyan 4 Gotega and Super Baby 2 are the last remaining fighters scheduled to join as part of theFighterZPass 3, but the last survivor of the Tuffle race is making his appearance first on May 30, 2025. The release date was revealed at the end of the Super Baby 2 trailer that highlights the villain and shows him in action.Dragon Ball GTfans will remember the Saiyan-hating menace as a powerful opponent, and he’s bringing that power to the game, along with his Golden Great Ape form.

Master Roshi was the last fighter added to the roster back in September. As one of the old school characters from the originalDragon Ballseries, it’s hard to imagine him going toe-to-toe against fighters like Ultra Instinct Goku, but the pervy old man proves he can still hold his own. This is thanks to his years of experience and his “Max Power” form that bulks him up. As with all fighters,Master Roshi received a trailerthat reveals the unique mix of wisdom and humor he brings to the game.

Aside from adding new characters, Bandai Namco is also consistently improving the game by listening to player feedback. There has been one longstanding issue that was a regular complaint within the community that was recently addressed. Since the game was released, disgruntled players would simply quit to avoid a loss, leaving opponents without a victory. This went on without any form of penalty for a long time, but now, through a recent update, rage quitters are punishedfor leaving a match early. Those who deliberately disconnect during a match will receive a one week ban from online lobbies.

Bandai Namco’sDragon Ball FighterZstands as one of the best fighting games in recent years, as well as one of the bestDragon Ballgames ever. Fans of the game are hoping the developer considers giving the same treatment to other popular anime series. One content creator imaginedDragon Ball FighterZwith Narutocharacters, even going so far as to make an animated version of the character select screen in the same visual style. Given the popularity ofDragon Ball FighterZ, it’s something worth considering for Bandai Namco.

Dragon Ball FighterZis available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
