Dr Disrespect embarked on yet another aim assist rant after the mechanic failed to work as intended inHalo Infinite. The Doc has previously become aggravated after another playerused aim assist against him inCall of Duty: Warzonewhich is one of the reasons he decided to swear off the game entirely.
The aim assist issue Dr Disrespect experienced inHalo Infiniteended up making him so upset that he ended up smashing his custom Dr Disrespect controller. The incident that lead to the Doc’s fit of rage occurred after he was locked in a firefight with another player and his aim assist failed to engage. After smashing his controller the Doc explained the reason for his rage to his viewers, “As good as Halo Infinite comes off to be, there’s a lot of little things that are adding up that makes it… I mean, what the f**k man, seven years and we get this?”

Dr Disrespect’s rant was not necessarily unfounded asPC players using controllers inHalo Infiniteencountered a glitchthat disables aim assist altogether. The glitch occurs when players accessing the game on PC hit enter on their keyboards instead of pushing the start button on their controllers. This causes the game to disable aim assist altogether even if the option is selected in the in-game menu.
This is not the first time that the Doc has been critical ofHalo Infiniteas he has also found issue with the Strongholds game modewhen playing Ranked Arena. He claims that the multiplayer game mode is just not fun to play and that it should instead be exchanged for a more creative game mode. Although this is unlikely to happen, 343 Industries may decide to tweak the mode as more than a few other creators and players have found problems with Strongholds.
Besides these issues, the Doc does seem to be enjoyingHalo Infinitequite a lot as he began to find fault with a lot of the games he was streaming previously such asCall of Duty: Warzone.The Doc also seems to be getting the hang ofHalo Infiniteas he was having issues with his control scheme until he switched over to the control scheme that Optic Gaming’s FormaL made use of and received an Overkill Medal. The Doc will most likely rack up breaking his controller to a bout of frustration and will more than likely continue playing the game for the foreseeable.
