Dr Disrespect Shares New Look at Deadrop's Firing Range, Says It 'Looks Better' Than Modern Warfare 2's

YouTuber Dr Disrespect says his gameDeadropis going to look better thanCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, sharing a new screenshot.Modern Warfare 2officially launched this past week and Dr Disrespect leapt into the new shooter from Infinity Ward for new content. As is also Dr Disrespect’s wheelhouse, the YouTube streamer has spent a fair amount of time criticizing the newCall of Dutyrelease. He has, naturally, been building up his own game in turn.The firing range has been a surprising point of focus for manyCall of Dutyfans. That’s because firing ranges aren’t a typical inclusion inCall of Dutygames anymore. It’s simply not been a priority for development teams. That’s changing withCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2andCall of Duty: Warzone 2, though. Further, he says thatMidnight Society’s firing range forDeadropalready looks better, despite the game being early in development. He then talks himself into sharing a look atDeadrop’s firing range, putting a screenshot of it on-stream. “This is not even finished,” says Dr Disrespect, offering both a dig atModern Warfare 2and a compliment to his developers onDeadrop.

It isn’t just the firing range that Dr Disrespect takes issues with inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, though. He says, “I’m very confident thatDeadrop’s going to look way better than this game,” referring toModern Warfare 2as a whole. Very little ofDeadrophas been shown at this point, however, and the game is still said to be fairly early in development. Dr Disrespect clearly has lofty aspirations for it, though.

Whether the screenshot thatDr Disrespectshowed looks better thanCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s firing range will be a matter of personal opinion. It’s worth acknowledging, at least, that exaggerated criticism ofCall of Dutygames are a pastime for many of the franchise’s biggest fans. Content creators like Dr Disrespect are good examples of that, given their harsh critiques dropped alongside hours of continued playtime.

It’s absolutely fair for Dr Disrespect to talk up his own game, though. Midnight Society is a young studio andDeadropwill be a major test for it. It’ll need all the help it can get to thrive. Dr Disrespect trying to build up his game at the expense of another is a separate matter entirely, but it certainly picks up views onYouTube.
