Disney Dreamlight Valleyis filled with personalities from the ever-expanding Disney universe, featuring characters fromToy Story,Frozen,Cinderella, and other beloved films. With a steady stream of characters being added during the game’s Early Access phase, the array is always expanding. One of the first characters the player can unlock inDreamlight Valley, aside from Mickey and his friends, is Remy, the beloved rat chef fromRatatouille.

After a handful of introductory quests, the player is given the opportunity to enter one of three starting realms, one of which is the Ratatouille Realm. Remy is one of the more complex characters featured inDreamlight Valley, as he offers additional quests and even has his own restaurant. Unlocking Remy in Dreamlight Valley

Once the player has unlocked theRatatouille Realmwithin the Dream Castle, they can start the quest “An Important Night at the Restaurant,” which unlocks Remy upon completion.

The player has the opportunity to enter one of thethree introductory realmsand unlock either Remy, Moana, or Wall-E at no cost. Opening the other two realms will cost 3,000 Dreamlight each, an in-game currency earned through gameplay.

When to Find Remy in Dreamlight Valley

All characters in Dreamlight Valley, barring Merlin, maintain unique daily schedules. Merlin is an exception, being accessible to the player around the clock. Remy does have a regular sleep schedule like other residents; however, he will always show up to supervise the player if theycook in his restaurant’s kitchen. Unfortunately, the player will not be able to interact with him at these times to turn in quests, give gifts, or any other actions available only when he is awake.

When is Remy Awake?

Remy’s active hours stretch from10 PM until 6 PMthe following day.

During this window, players can locate Remy most commonly in his restaurant, but he can also be found exploring the various biomes of Dreamlight Valley. In either location, the player is able topresent him with giftsand engage in dialogue to boost Friendship. Additionally, Remy can tag along with the player and offer extra bonuses when assigned a Companion Role at Friendship Level 2.

When is Remy Asleep?

From6 PM to 10 PM, Remy is off-duty, spending this time resting in his massive mansion.

During these hours, interactions with Remy are not possible until he wakes up at 10 PM, preventing the completion of any quests involving Remy or requiring entry into his home.

When is Remy in His Restaurant (Chez Remy)?

Remy’s presence in Chez Remy can be expected between1 AM and 5 AMand from11 AM until 2 PM.

While Remy is at his restaurant, the player has the opportunity to speak with him, give gifts, and complete quest objectives. However, Remy does not take a seat in his own restaurant and cannot be served prepared dishes in order to raise his Friendship like the player can with other Valley residents.

Welcoming Remy into Dreamlight Valley kickstarts the player’s Friendship journey with Ratatouille’s star chef. Unlike most other residents of Dreamlight Valley, Remy offers additional quests alongside his normal Friendship quests progression.

Remy Friendship Rewards

With each new Friendship Level achieved with Remy, the player earns a unique reward. His final reward,Remy’s “Best Chef” Shelf,is awarded upon the completion of his Friendship quest, “The Unknown Flavor.” This quest becomes accessible at Friendship Level 10.
