Xur has returned again toDestiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. Speaking of exotics, it was a strange week in the community as the Telesto fusion rifle seemingly gained sentience and took over Bungie’s social media accounts to being posting. It’s not the first time the community has thought the exotic weapon has transcended the game, as theTelesto has a lengthy history of glitching and bugging outcertain parts ofDestiny 2.
TheTelesto Twitter takeover eventalso led many to believe it was the start of a new Community Event inDestiny 2, something which had been rumored for a few weeks. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like that may be happening after all as Bungie ultimately showed off a new shirt and emblem players can pick up. Not only that, this week’s blog post also seemed to deconfirm any secrets or puzzles to be found.

While the wait for a community event continues, players can get their new weapon fix right now as the weekend merchant Xur is back again inDestiny 2for a limited time. Follow this guide for his most current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he’s brought for the weekend of June 09, 2025.
Where is Xur?
Over this weekend, players should head to Watcher’s Grave on Nessus to find the merchant up the massive tree towards the back of the zone.
From the Director, head to Nessus and load into Watcher’s Grave. Run towards the back of the zone where a massive tree is found. Jump up until players find the huge branch where the merchant is hanging out.

Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur continues to sell even more gear outside his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer.

Exotic Armor
Starfire Protocol - Warlock chest armor
Fusion Harness provides players with 1 extra fusion grenade charge, and they also recharge the Rift ability faster when the player makes a kill with a grenade.

While the perks may not sound very exciting, players have found some interesting uses for the armor, especially with the Solar 3.0 reworks. This support build allows players to use an empowering rift basically letting them have two healing grenades. Plus, the added damage not only recharges the rift but kills made from an empowered weapon also recharge the grenade faster as well. Even though it can be situational, the roll this week, both with the extremely high Resilience as well as a solid 67 total, makes this gear worth a look this week.
Arc Enhanced. Stat Values:
Knucklehead Radar - Hunter helmet
Hunters gets the Knucklehead Radar helmet this week. The helm really lends itself toPvP modes in the Cruciblethanks to the perk Upgraded Sensor Pack which enhances the player’s radar when crouched and keeps it on the screen when aiming down the sights.
Useful is the best term to describe this exotic as it’s not the best option out there for Hunters, but it can be valuable in the right situations. Knowing where enemies are coming from even when aiming down the sights can come in handy inside the Crucible, though there are better options overall. The roll isn’t great, so it’s not required this week.

Khepri’s Horn- Titan helmet
THe rarely seen Khepri’s Horn is available for Titan players this week. Originally added alongside the Curse of Osiris expansion, Khepri’s Horn synergizes best with Sunbreaker Titans as its intrinsic perk, Solar Rampart, recharges the barricade ability after a solar kill. In addition, a solar blast is fired when the barricade is used.
While the community isn’t too high on these right now and there are better exotic options out there, it’s a helm that’s still worth adding for Hammer Titans who don’t already have it. Barricade is a very useful skill, especially in many PvE activities like Battlegrounds or taking down tough bosses with rally barricade.

Void Enhanced. Stat Values:
Exotic Weapon
If this week was any sort of hint, most people likely assumed that the Telesto would be featured here and of course, Bungie delivers.
The weapon’s intrinsic perk is called Unplanned Reprieve which causes fusion projectiles to attach and detonate with a delayed void blast. It’s also paired with the Harbinger’s Pulse perk which instantly reloads equipped primary and energy weapons after multi-kills with the Telesto. Naturally, it’s a great PvE weapon as its sticky explosives cover a wide area and can clear adds very fast. It’s a solid PvP weapon as well, though it really shines once the Masterwork catalyst has been applied to increase the ammo reserves.

Additional perks:
Since Season 16 removed the Presage and Harbinger exotic missions,Xur is also selling both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale with randomized rolls. Players should visit him each weekend as he’ll be carrying different rolls.
Hawkmoon Rolls:
Dead Man’s Tale
