With the current Season of the Worthy quickly coming to a close inDestiny 2, many fans continue to wonder just how Bungie plans on closing things out. Many have hoping to see theaccidentally discovered Tower mapupdate actually happen, while others are hoping for some secret last minute quest to bring down the Cabal’s last ditch plan. Whatever happens, players got their first glimpse at reset this week as the Almighty has finally appeared in the Tower’s sky box. It’s still pretty faint, but the Cabal warship can be seen eclipsing the sun and many fans have already started to point it out on social media.
Outside of Season of the Worthy and all ofthe recent expansion rumors, Bungie still isn’t saying much on the future of the game. In this week’s update, the studio touched on the subject lamenting the fact that its plans have had to change due to the pandemic. No dates were given for future reveals, but the studio does promise that news will be coming very soon.

Even a giant ship hurdling towards Earth isn’t enough to keep the exotic gear merchant Xur away from his weekend visit inside ofDestiny 2.Follow this guide for his location as well as a review of what he’s currently selling for the weekend of June 01, 2025.
Where is Xur?
Knowing he’ll be out of the Last City before the Almighty arrives, Xur is stationed in his usual spot at the Tower Hangar this weekend.
After loading into The Tower, head left and follow the path into the hangar. Stay on the ground level, run left past Jalaal’s Dead Orbit area, and find a set of starts towards the back where Xur can be found overlooking the mountains from a platform.

Class Armor
Keep in mind thatthe Armor 2.0 updatehas caused Xur’s items each week to mirror the rolls players get from pulling these items from their own Collections. As it stands, players should likely hold on to their shards if they already own the following items. Players can use the Fated Engram to pull something a little different if nothing in his inventory is appealing this week, including newer exotic items.
Here are Xur’s three gear pieces this weekend:
Crown of Tempests - Warlock helmet
For Warlocks that like to get their Palpatine on, the Crown of Tempests remainsone of the best exotics for Stormtrance. It remains a top option thanks to the exotic perk Conduction Tines. With this item, any arc ability kills restores arc abilities, which includes both supers.

This is an item that all Warlocks should have as it’s arguably the best exotic to use with Stormcaller. The ability to quickly regenerate abilities is a huge boon for Warlocks, making this item a must own. Needless to say, wearing this item while running top tree Stormcaller remains incredibly strong in both PvE and PvP situations.
Arc Enhanced. Stat Values:
The Bombardiers - Hunter leg armor
Some of the newest exotics in the game,The Bombardiers only just arrived last season. These exotic boots come with the perk called Parting gift which leaves behind an explosive with a short fuse after dodging.
Unlike the other two items on sale this week, The Bombardiers are not a must have. However, while there are much better class exotics out there for Hunters, these remain a fun option to play around with. Collectors will no doubt want to pick these up but for everyone else, your mileage may vary with what you get out of these.
Doom Fang Pauldron - Titan helmet
Sentinel Titans have something to look forward to this week as the Doom Fang Pauldron armor, and its exotic perk Horns of Doom, grant super energy on void melee kills. Not only that, melee kills recharge Shield Throw when Sentinel Shield is active, also extending the super on basic hits.
Needless to say, this is another must-have item forSentinel Titans, especially bottom tree users, just for the added recharge effect alone. The melee benefits also apply to players using a void sword as well, not just for using the Titan melee attack.
Void Enhanced. Stat Values:
Exotic Weapon
After nearly three years, The Prospector is back as the featured exotic weapon this week. Unlike other grenade launchers in this class, The Prospector canfire its rounds as a fully automatic weaponby holding down the trigger. It’s exotic perk is called Excavation which lets players hold the trigger to fire the grenade and then release it to detonate all live grenades simultaneously. In addition, grenades can stick to surfaces and set targets on fire.
Naturally, this weapon allows players to blanket large areas with grenades before detonating them all at once. It can be a little unruly with the full auto system, but once players get the hang of it, it can lay some serious damage on enemies. It’s an older weapon but its likely that many newer players may not have it since it hasn’t been in the spotlight in quite a while. It’s worth spending the shards on.
Oddly enough, Bungie is also offering this weapon in their Twitch Prime Rewards package this week, so for players who are part of that, they could easily save the shards and claim the rewards from Twitch Prime Loot.
