Xur has returned again toDestiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. Alongside all of the current events going on inside ofDestiny 2such as The Dawning and Moments of Triumph, Bungie unleashed a new exotic quest for Season of the Seraph players ultimately leading tothe pulse rifle known as Revision Zero. Unlike other exotics, Revision Zero’s claim to fame is that it is highly customizable through The Relic on Mars.
In addition to Revision Zero, resourcefulDestiny 2players have discovered an exotic Sparrowthat can be unlocked a bit earlier than Bungie intended. The Seraph styled ride is known as Archangel’s Refit can be unlocked by destroying 50 security drones with Revision Zero using Ricochet Rounds and although it isn’t supposed to be possible yet, some have found a way to use the ricochet rounds to hit out of bounds areas.

For now, the weekend merchant Xur is back again inDestiny 2for a limited time. Follow this guide for his most current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he’s brought for the weekend of June 28, 2025.

Where is Xur?
This weekend, players can find Xur on Nessus, hanging out on his usual massive tree branch.
From the Director, head to Nessus and load into Watcher’s Grave. Run towards the back of the zone where a massive tree is found. Jump up until players find the huge branch where the merchant is hanging out.

Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur continues to sell even more gear outside his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer.

Exotic Armor
Apotheosis Veil - Warlock helmet
Just on sale last month, not much as changed for the Apotheosis Veil as it’s still an alright support exotic that isn’t dependent on subclass. It comes with the exotic perk Insatiable, which immediately regenerates the player’s health, melee, grenade, and rift energy when activating their super. Nearby allies also recharge class abilities faster as well.
It’s likely not great in all situations, but it could come in handy when playing difficult activities or even in competitive PvP modes. It may not replace the standard go to exotics for Warlocks, but could be worth a look for some players. The stat roll isn’t great, coming in at 61 which is definitely on the lower side.

Arc Enhanced. Stat Values:
Graviton Forfeit - Hunter helmet
While this gear was last on sale earlier this year, now might be the time to investigateGraviton Forfeit as the exotic helmet got a much needed reworkat the start of Season 15. When equipped, its exotic perk Vanishing Shadow gives increased bonus duration of invisibility effects and increases melee recharge speed, recovery, and weapon reload time while invisible. The melee recharge speed increases based on the number of enemies nearby.
The unfortunate element to Graviton this week is the poor stat roll, only coming in at a 59 in total, which is quite low. Pick it up to complete the collection part of it, but it’s an easy pass this week.

Void Enhanced. Stat Values:
An Insurmountable Skullfort- Titan helmet
An Insurmountable Skullfort a perfect compliment to players who favor close quarters. Transfusion Matrix is its intrinsic perk which triggers health regeneration and restores melee energy after getting a kill with an arc melee ability.
This is a solid choice, especially with therecent Arc 3.0 updatein both PvE and PvP for Earthshaker or Missile Striker Titans. The roll is solid this week, even though Mobility is its highest value at 16. Still, it has above average Recovery and Strength, so it’s certainly not a bad choice this week.

Exotic Weapon
At one point in time, Hard Light was largely regarded as the strongest weapon inDestiny 2, including competitive events like the Crucible. It was favored by most players for its rapid fire, high damage, and near zero recoil. As these things tend to go, thenerf hammer finally fell on Hard Light, reducing its effectiveness. However, Season of the Seraph helped to improve the gun and any using the Fundamentals trait where the specific element being used also provides stat bonuses as well.
Hard Light basically shoots lasers thanks to its Intrinsic perk, Volatile Light. Rounds fired from the weapon have reduced damage falloff, over penetrate targets, and ricochet of hard surfaces. The more they ricochet, the more damage they inflict. It may not be the beast it once was, but it is still more than serviceable and is a decent pickup this week.
Additional perks:
Since Season 16 removed the Presage and Harbinger exotic missions,Xur is also selling both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale with randomized rolls. Players should visit him each weekend as he’ll be carrying different rolls.
Hawkmoon Rolls:
Dead Man’s Tale
