This special rocket launcher will involve a ton of grinding, so players should strap in for a few long weeks ofDestiny 2if they plan on getting the absolute best roll this weapon has to offer. Here are sometips on how to farm for the Crowning Duologue.
How To Get The Solstice 2023 Rocket Launcher
As one would guess, players will need to participate inthe Solstice 2023 eventto get the Crowning Duologue. Successfully stoking the magic space bonfire and beating the boss that appears in the Bonfire Bash activity will reward players with a random bounty of loot. The Crowning Duologue might drop here, but so might last year’s Something New Hand Cannon and pieces of the new Solstice 2023 armor set.
Unfortunately, the Crowning Duologue is locked behind this wall of RNG. Players can’t purchase any copies of it from Eva at the Tower either, so everyone will have to prep for a long grind if they want awell-rolled version of this rocket launcher. At the very least, Bonfire Bash is an excellent source of armor. Players who are looking for the perfect armor piece to complete their triple-stat builds have a lot to look forward to in this activity.

No Silver Leaves are needed to get any of the random loot drops from the end of Bonfire Bash. However, having a healthy stock of them is still recommended for the sake of maximizing farming efficiency with each run. Players can quickly farm for Silver Leaves by running the first mission of theLightfallcampaign and saving the checkpoint at the end before interacting with the drop pods leading to Neomuna.
Uncrowned Duologue God Rolls
The Uncrowned Duologue is a Precision Rocket Launcher, which means its projectiles will home-in on targets even without the Tracking Module perk. Players will be able to score direct hits more easily with this weapon, giving the Impact Casing perk good value. Direct hits with this archetype of rocket launcher won’t deal as much damagecompared to Aggressive Frames, however.
The majority of Uncrowned Duologue’s perks are AOE-centric, which makes up for the launcher’s low Blast Radius stat. Perks like Cluster Bomb, Chain Reaction, and Hatchling are all present on this weapon, pushing its job toward the add clear side of the spectrum instead of the usual boss damage role that other meta rocket launchers fulfill.

If one were to lean heavily toward this horde-clearing playstyle, then a god roll for this weapon would look like this:
Strand users can swap Chain Reaction out for Hatchling, though the number of Threadlings spawned per rocket is underwhelming, at best. As of writing, blasting the initial room of Taken Thralls in Shuro Chi’s first room in the Last Wish raid with this weapon results in only two Threadling spawns. Chain Reaction will do a better job of dealing with survivors of the rocket blast, and so will Cluster Bomb.
Swashbuckler is a good perk option for buffing the rocket launcher’s damage against bosses, but it is easily outshone by a Cold Comfort orApex Predator withBait and Switch, especially in boss fights where adds are scarce.
Destiny 2is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
