Today is a big day for all of theDestiny 2fans out there, as Bungie is set to launch the 14th season of the game, Season of the Splicer, on all major platforms. Of course, many fans are excited to jump into the new 3.2.0 update, so knowing what timeDestiny 2will be updated is sure to come in handy.
Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer Release Time

Starting today, May 11, at 9 AM PT, the maintenance forDestiny 2will begin, eventually removing all players from the game and putting the game offline for a short period of time. And then, at 10 AM PT, the latest update (3.2.0) will begin to roll out on all platforms, allowing folks to log back into their game to check out theSeason of the Splicer.
There will still be some maintenance going on as the new update rolls out, but Bungie confirmed that the work should conclude around 11 am PT.
Many fans are excited for this new season, as it brings with it a lot of new and also returning content from past seasons. The Vault of Glass raid will be making a comeback from the firstDestinygame, but it won’t be available until May 22. Players will compete to see who can clear the raid the fastest and becrowned the World’s First Champion.
There will also be a new 6-person simulation game mode called Override that isn’t just another way to farm for material, as it actually has something to do with the overarching narrative of Season of the Splicer. Players will work together to complete the objective of breaching the Vex network. The aesthetic of the new season goes well with thisnew Override game mode, and is sure to appeal to someDestiny 2players that are looking for some new activities to play with friends online.

Destiny 2is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Season of the Splicer will run until August 24th.
