It may seem impossible to guide players in a battle with the final boss inDespot’s Game: The Dystopian Army Builder. After all, players can’t control their army. They can only set them up and hope for success. Even so, players will need to do quite a bit of setting up before reaching this foe.

Nothing is more frustrating than getting to the last enemy inDespot’s Game: The Dystopian Army Builderand losing. As a unique boss, there is no way to prepare for the fight or know what to invest in. Thankfully, this guide will have all of those juicy details.
3The Fight
Although players will have no control during the fight, knowing how it works can help gamers prepare and line up their units. During the first stage, the robot head will fly around and slam down on the ground at various locations. He will also summon robotic arms from the sky that do the same thing but remain in place, swiping at nearby enemies until they are killed.

During the second stage, the boss will run around swiping at random targets with a sweep attack, hitting them and anyone close to them. The robotic arms will still be summoned and perform the same way. Finally, the boss will summon opponents that attack the group.
2Key Mutations

It should be noted that nearly every mechanic this boss has ignores Tank classes and uses area of effect damage. As a result, the group needs to be buffed. Those who rely on tanks to take the majority of the damage will be completely out of luck.
Get two ofthe best mutations in the gameand max them out. They are very inexpensive and allow allow humans to absorb the hits from the boss. These are all physical damage abilities despite dealing area damage, so feel free to ignore magic protection.

Players will still have plenty of mutation points after maxing out these two. Choose some offensive mutations that benefit the classes in the squad.
1Best Classes
Tanks will likely be necessary for virtually every fight leading up to this one, but the boss flew right over taunting targets with no issue, so Tanks suddenly become unimportant. Healers, however, will be more useful than ever since the whole squad will be taking damage at some point.
Having one ofthe best abilitiesin the game, Shooters will boost the group’s attack speed regardless of class. Fighters also share damage taken with the whole group, which again provides another layer of protection for weaker classes that will be tanking against their will.

Despot’s Game: The Dystopian Army Builderis available now for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
