Death must die Merris the Scorceress

5Merris The Sorceress

Ranged Magic, Weak In Close

Merris is the only character that can perform ranged attacks, which means that in close combat, it is going to be more difficult for players to kill hordes of enemies. Even though her abilities can be enhanced with upgrades, she is quite weak at defense.

Surely, it can be an advantage for players to stop enemies before they can attack her, but once surrounded, she is going to have a hard time surviving due to relying on her ranged skills only.

Death must die Avoron the Knight

How to Fight Effectively

It’s important to utilize different boons from Gods, like Rampaging Strike, Lifelink, Chains of War, etc., if players want to survive longer. As her ranged attacks are unidirectional, a boon like Sickles of Mort can shoot out several sickles in under 2 seconds to kill several enemies nearby.

Similarly, players can utilize the Lifelink boon to drain enemies' health when dashing while healing the Merris simultaneously. Players should remember that each boon has its limitations, but leveling up each boon will increase its stats.

Death must die Skadi the Warrior

4Avoron The Knight

Starting Character, Good All-Rounder

Players will begin their journey with Avoron, and he is a solid character in close-range combat. Heexcels in swordsmanshipand can take out a few skeletons with a single arc attack.

Unlike Merris, Avoron is equipped with heavy armor, crucial for defense against enemies, and helps him stay alive when cornered by minions. His only limitation is range, which bars him from killing enemies from far away.

Death must die Nixi the Assassin

Slashing through several enemies at once is one of the most effective ways to use Avoron, but the enemies must be very close to each other to fall in the hitbox’s range.

Another way to increase Avoron’s potential in the early stages is to use Krom’s boon Chains of War, which creates a rotating chain around the character, damaging nearby enemies. As players go into a boss fight, they can utilize Merciful Strike which, when leveled up, deals heavy damage.

Death must die Kront the Barbarian

3Skadi The Warrior

High Offense, Average Defense

Skadiuses a longer swordthan Avoron, which has a hitbox with a longer range and can kill even more enemies in a single strike. This warrior-class character is ideal for offense as she boasts a combo of large melee attacks and medium armor that protects her from damage.

Combine boons with her native fighting skills, and she is ready to perform devastating moves on several enemies at once.

Try to maintain distance from enemies as her medium armor isn’t sufficient to take a lot of hits. Utilize Summer’s boons like Vengeful Strike to increase damage.

As she gets past the initial stage, players will receive different types of boons, like Sickles of Mort and Breath of Fire for killing monsters quickly.

2Nixi The Assassin

Agile Character With High Damage, Low Defense

Nixi the Assassin is already blazing fast and, with additional boons, her normal movement as well as dash become unmatched. Nixi has two knives, but despite that, her attack range is surprisingly good.

A single hit cankill a few enemiesat the same time. Her only limitation is light armor, which is why she needs quick movements to evade potential threats.

Nixi’s attacks can kill several minions, but with boons such as Leigong’s Wrathful Strike, players can deal out additional attacks. Going further into the game, Mort can grant Nixi the Necromancy boon, which can raise skeletons to fight alongside her.

Utilize different boons and level them up to increase Nixi’s potential and become an untouchable assassin.

1Kront The Barbarian

High-Defense And Massive Base Damage

Kront is a strong barbarianwho brings an axe and another lethal weapon to deal some heavy damage. His base damage is already 30+ and his area-of-effect damage makes him the best character in the game.

On top of excellent base damage, Kront wears heavy armor that doesn’t slow him down, making him a dangerous character who can kill several enemies at once without taking much damage.

Kront can utilize unique boons in the early game, where Lady Justice gives him three options to choose from: Merciful Strike(+20% damage), Purification(+37% healing), and Reprisal(9% chance).

Each boon can help the character fight more effectively. In the course of Kront’s journey, more boons will accumulate and increase Kront’s stats even further, resulting in a fearsome barbarian.
