Dead Island 2is bursting with keys to find and lock mechanisms to open when not slaying Hell-A’s undead in creatively gruesome ways. One of the first mystery key locations players come across inDead Island 2is during theDeath of the Party side quest, containing three sets of keys to find belonging to one of LA’s celebs Curtis Sinclair, includingCurtis’s garage key,house keys, andsafe key.

However, sometimes getting Curtis' keys is no easy task, as players need to know where to look. Fortunately, eagle-eyed players can get Curtis' garage key pretty easily.
After completing the game’s introduction, players' slayer ends up at celeb Emma Jaunt’s mansion. Shortly after defending the place from zombie invaders, players head out onto the streets of Bel Air in search of the authorities in the Call the Cavalry story mission, when theDeath of the Party side questalso becomes available.
Instead of heading straight to the Halperin Hotel, players can go to another property on a side street near Emma’s just below Access Road 782. Answer the intercom system by the front gateto begin The Death of the Party side questset by Curtis Sinclair. Curtis wants players to kill the zombies on his property and then speak to him, but most buildings are tightly locked up, including the garage.
On exploring the grounds of Curtis' mansion, players will see the house and side entrance to the garage are locked up, with no way to Parkour inside.To get Curtis' garage key, players must head inside the garage a different way.
When someDead Island 2beginnersget stuck about what to do or where to go next, it’s often best to carefully check the environment for clues or objects. Defeat the zombies in front of the property and head towards the parked cars in front of the garage, opening trunks to grab any resources like scrap.
To open the garage’s left door, hit the switch on the garage wall,potentially revealing a small group of zombies inside. Players might want to take advantage of the explosive canisters inside to light them up and put out the fire with the nearby water Jerry can.
Grab any resources and destroy the crates on the right to reveal a gap that players can crouch under to get inside the adjoining garage room, whereplayers can find Curtis’s garage key on the workbench.
Inside the garage, there are also plenty more materials to grab along withthe rake, one ofDead Island 2’s melee weapons, and theReinforced Perk blueprint, one ofDead Island 2’s weapon upgrades.
Grab Curtis' garage key off the table and use them to open the garage side door. That’s one piece of the puzzle solved, but players must also get hold of Curtis' house keys and safe key to complete the rest of the quest and obtain all the treasures inside.
