TheCyberpunk 2077 Phantom LibertyDLC represents a unique opportunity for CD Projekt Red to make a second first-impression with the game. There once was a time whenCyberpunk 2077was one of the most hotly-anticipated new game releases, but a problematic launch saw much of the goodwill fans had for the game and CD Projekt Red in general squandered. Many ofCyberpunk 2077’s issues stemmed from the PS4 and Xbox One versionsof the game, so with the DLC focusing exclusively on new platforms, it should be able to avoid running into those same pitfalls.
