Activision Blizzard’s free-to-playCall of Duty Mobileis entering Season 5, and it has just confirmed that the season has a tropical theme incorporated in various ways. This includes a tropical map, weapon blueprints, weapon charms, seasonal challenges, a themed event, and more joiningCall of Duty Mobilesoon.

Call of Duty MobileSeason 4Wild Dogs featured many returning faces from previous titles in theCall of Dutyfranchise, such as Roach and Farah in its Battle Pass, and Season 5 is touting a primarily female cast of characters. The new map coming toCall of Duty Mobilewith the latest season being dubbed “Tropical Vision” is a fan favorite one from an olderCall of Dutytitle in which players will run through the jungle to slay enemy soldiers.

Apocalypse fromCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warjoins theCall of Duty Mobilemap rotation with Season 5 Tropical Vision, and it follows a three-lane structure through enclosed and open spaces.Call of Duty Mobileis also getting a new game mode with Tropical Vision known as Guns Blazing Encore that will turn players who fill a Fury gauge into a super-soldier with dual Death Machines and increased health. The goal of Guns Blazing Encore is to be the firstCall of Duty Mobileplayer to earn 30 points, with normal kills earning one point and super-soldier kills counting for three points.

Call of Duty Mobilehas confirmed its Battle Pass for Tropical Vision will include items of varying value, with most things being part of the Premium pass. Some weapons that will be unlocked through progressing in the Battle Pass are the Tiki Troops shotgun, Oden assault rifle, and Echo Grenade, and there will be Blueprints for the AK-47, MSMC, PKM, and Kilo bolt-action sniper rifle. Players that want to see another side of the iconicCall of Dutycharacter Soapcan earn his Vacay Ready Operator skin by completing Flood Team Bravo event tasks through Multiplayer and Battle Royale.

While manyCall of Duty Mobilefans have celebrated what’s coming to the free-to-play FPS with Season 5 Tropical Vision, others lamented a missing Tournament mode, Ranked matchmaking being problematic, and some weapon nerfs. Considering the fact that Apocalypse is aclassicCall of Dutymapwith a jungle theme, it’s fitting that Activision Blizzard is including all sorts of other free and paid tropical items throughout Season 5. Season 5 Tropical Vision launches on June 1, leavingCall of Duty Mobileplayers with only a couple of days to finish their Season 4 Battle Pass.
