Activision started itsCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warreveals with the campaign trailer last month, showcasing the story and characters set to be in the new game. It then followed that up with theBlack Ops Cold Warmultiplayer showcase, revealing a variety of different maps and game modes that players will be able to experience come November 13. However, there’s three pieces to theBlack Ops Cold Warpuzzle, and that third piece, Zombies, has yet to be properly revealed.
While Activision has not shown a full reveal for theBlack Ops Cold WarZombies mode, fans did get their first look at it at the end of the multiplayer reveal trailer. Following theBlack Ops Cold Warpre-order bonus announcement, fans could get a look at Zombies, which appears to be taking a much darker tone than in previous games in the series. In the video, the player character slowly makes their way through a dark building of some kind, armed with just a pistol and a flashlight. They then come across a large horde of zombies, only to turn and get taken out by another member of the undead.

More information on theBlack Ops Cold WarZombies modewill likely come within the next month or so.
Zombies, multiplayer, and campaign will be the main game modes inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but it will also be directly linked to theWarzonebattle royaleas well. As confirmed by Treyarch, the launch ofBlack Ops Cold Warwill kick off the next “evolution” ofWarzone. This will include adding content toWarzoneto better align it with theBlack Ops Cold Warexperience, though what that will entail exactly has yet to be announced. More information on that should also come at a later date, though it may not be revealed until much closer to launch.
One possibility is that the Zombies mode andWarzonewill have a crossover of some kind. Dataminers have already found evidence thatWarzonewill get zombies, either in the main game mode or as part of a limited-time event. With October and Halloween right around the corner, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to assume that aWarzoneHalloween event with zombies could be in the cards.
Whatever the case may be, fans will have to wait for more information. Right now, Activision is focused on theBlack Ops Cold Warmultiplayer, and detailing everything that it has to offer players.
