to commemorate the launch of DLC day,Borderlands 3reveals a new code for five golden keys.

Borderlands 3is the latest installment to the series developed byGearboxthat plays like an action RPG first-person shooter game. The game came out in 2019 for current-generation consoles and had the highest initial sales of games for the series, with a total of 5 million copies sold in the first five days after release.

Today,Borderlands 3released its third DLC pack called “Bounty of Blood"that introduces new mechanics to the game, such as new skills and missions. And to celebrate the occasion, a unique code for five golden keys has been released on Twitter.

Randy Pitchford, Chief Executive Officer at Gearbox studios, posted on his Twitter the code “CHWJ3 - XKHCH - K6KXZ - XT3TT - 6HB66” that can be redeemed until June 28th at 10 am central time. Shift codes are used to redeem Golden Keys, which can then be used to unlock a wide variety of powerful weapons.

to redeem the Golden Keys, enter the 25 digitshift codeinto the menu through the social tab. After that, click the middlebox option called Shift, players will be directed to the menu to enter the code. A checkmark should appear next to the entered code, and players can hit submit to receive the keys. The golden keys should be sent directly to inventory, then all players have to do is take the golden keys to the golden chest in the middle of Sanctuary near the Cargo Bay. Players will have a variety of weapons to choose from, and they will have access to all of the weapons so there is no need to worry about choosing the right one.

It is recommended that players save their keys and wait until the middle of the game so they will get better weapons for the harder bosses in the later sections of the game. However, the code does have an expiration date, so it is good to cash in on this free deal while it lasts. While awestern-themedBorderlands 3may have seemed like a stretch,  it is excellent that Gearbox continues to reward its players for the continued support they have shown for the game for such a long time.

Borderlands 3is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
