Last week, Gearbox Software released an exciting new video that revealed the first 13 minutes ofBorderlands 3’s forthcoming story DLC,Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot. This video primarily focused around the narrative, setting, and enemies featured in the highly-anticipatedBorderlands 3DLC, but that was not all that was shown. More specifically, a closer look at the footage reveals a powerful new FL4K class mod that many fans of the Beastmaster will be happy to add to their arsenals.
Called “St4ckbot,” this new legendary FL4K class mod grants increased weapon damage whenever the Vault Hunter lands a critical hit, and this additional damage remains until a shot does not score a critical. Furthermore, the effect stacks, which means that consecutive critical hits have the potential to give the Beastmaster a major damage boost. For those fans that are running anFL4K buildcentered around Fade Away, which is indeed many players, this is certain to be an exciting prospect.

For the uninitiated, Fade Away is an action skill in FL4K’s Stalker tree, and it allows theBorderlands 3Vault Hunterto go invisible. While cloaked, FL4K can fire three shots, and all of them are guaranteed to be criticals. Indeed, coupling the St4ckbot with this skill is something that will be immediately obvious to many players, and this new legendary class mod has the potential to become a staple for Fade Away-based builds moving forward.
With respect to when players will be able to get their hands on the St4ckbot, the Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot release date is set for December 19. Additionally, it is indicated that players need not have completed theBL3campaignbefore tackling this new story DLC, so fans that might have an underleveled FL4K alt can still pursue the powerful class mod if they so choose.
To note, the St4ckbot is just the beginning of the newBorderlands 3legendaries that fans can look forward to in Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, and hopefully others will rival the strength of this new FL4K class mod. Certainly, many players would love to gain access to some powerful new weapons, and it seems very likely that they will have a bevy of new offensive options in just over one week’s time.
Borderlands 3is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
