Since the earlyGrand Theft Autotitles, there have been bizarre things happening and that’s no different withGrand Theft Auto Online, which shares much of the same map, weapons, and mechanics asGTA 5. OneGrand Theft Auto Onlineplayer has captured the bizarre occurrence in which an NPC is stuck on their plane’s wing.

Vehicles have been a staple in theGrand Theft Autotitles since their inception, and there are many ways thatGTAfans can traverse theGrand Theft Auto Onlinemap, including with planes. Unlike otherGrand Theft Autotitles,GTA Onlineis regularly updatedwith new content and occasional additions to this vehicle roster, which fittingly expands on available transportation options for dedicated players. Reddit user Luethifers_life recently shared a clip from their exploration of the Los Santos landscape using one of the aforementioned planes, with a seemingly glitched NPC bent backward on the wing.

Luethifers_life’sGrand Theft Auto Onlineclip begins with the player climbing through the sky in a plane briefly before diving in a way that should have shot the NPC stuck on the wing back to the ground. As the NPCs lifeless eyes look towards the cockpit, the player takes a hard turn before flying straight up and resorting to the first-person view to ignore the stowaway. On their way to theGTA Onlinelocation of Cayo Pericofor a mission, Luethifers_life levels out the plane while facing a beach and turns to the left one more time before looking back to the plane’s wing to see that the NPC is still there.

The NPC is unwavering as Luethifers_life flies straight up once again, eventually doing a full loop with the small plane, which still fails to shake the character that should have fallen from the sky by this moment. Luethifers_life’s clip concludes with the player returning to the standard third-person view to continue their mission after being unable to remove the extra character that seems impervious to gravity from their plane. It’s currently unclear what caused this NPC to react to the mechanics of the game like this, but this NPC is far from the first one inGTA Onlineto act questionably.

Although Luethifers_life was never able to shake the NPC in their video, theGTA Onlineplayer did confirm that it fell off before they reached Cayo Perico, much to the chagrin of some Reddit users responding to the clip. While many comments referenced the El Rubio, the victim of theCayo Perico Heist, and the regular missions to rob him, others suggested that thisGrand Theft Auto Onlinecharacter was merely trying to hitch a free ride across the city.

Grand Theft Auto Onlineis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
