It fills in that 2D Platform niche occupied bySmash Bros, the key difference beingBrawlhallais on every platform imaginable and is completely free.Brawlhallahas something for everyone, it has very solid fighting game mechanics and a balanced meta for competitive play. One of the more popular non-competitive modes in the game is the horde mode. This sees upto 4 players take waves upon waves of enemies to see how far they can get. Players can play this alone, with people online or with 1-3 of their friends,on consoles or mobile. Horde mode isn’t easy, the later waves of enemies can be quite a hassle to deal with and players need to be on their toes. With that in mind here are some of thebestBrawlhallalegends for horde mode.
7Barazza
Barazza has always been one of the more relevant champions in the game, particularly due to his presence in pro-play through Cody Travis. Barazza has a stupidly high defense and otherwise solid stats across the board. Moreover, him having axe as a weapon makes dealing with large swarms of enemies easier. Especially using the axe side-air attack.
Barazza’s signatures are not the best for horde mode simply due to their nature and slow-ish startup. Regardless he can be a solid pick due to his exceptional stats.
6Xull
Xull is in a similar boat to Barazza, his signatures are not the easiest to use nor are they quick and flashy, making them somewhat ineffective for horde mode. What makes Xull really good however is his incredible strength stat. He has the highest damage in the game and his signatures carry a lot of force.
If a player has a couple of friends with them, Xull can be quite useful as a glass canon,if playing the mode in co-op, with someone watching his back he can dish out insane amounts of damage effortlessly. Moreover, his signatures, while not the most spammable, if used right can be devastating.
5Sir Roland
Sir Roland has never exactly been a staple characterin competitive play, but its a shame because he is a very fun character. He has really good defenses and a decent stat spread across the board. His sword signatures are perfect for horde mode, they’re really fast and are easy to catch tons of enemies into. Particularly his side sig and neutral sig can be used to great effect.

Sir Roland also has access to the lance weapon. This weapon is underrated for horde mode, and can be used to great effect for clearing out the center stage quickly and occupying a lot of space.
4Caspian
Caspian mains are having a good time right now for sure. After what seems like years the legend is a top tier pick, this is due to his unique weapon combination of having two similar weapons; gauntlets and katars. While these make Caspian a bit telegraphed, his stats compliment both weapons and his signatures are incredible. Caspian is one of the strongest legends in the game right now.

Caspian being strong has translated over to horde mode as well. His side signatures on both weapons are really good and clean out waves of enemies. Moreover, his high strength and the high inherent force of most of his signatures mean he can deal with tons of enemies easily. His speed is only an added benefit on top of this.
3Hattori
Hattori is one of the premier spear legends, she’s fast has good damage and really useful signatures. Her spear side and neutral sigs are both quick and can be readily spammed. Her spear down sig if used right essentially invites hordes of enemies into it, only for them to get blasted.
Similarly, she can quickly build up damage with her sword and the signatures are all good too. Hattori is rated so highly as most spear legends are simply really good in horde mode, and she’s one of the best of them.
2Scarlet
Scarlet is one of the most frustrating legends to play against despiteall the new flashy additions, she’s still annoying. For most players it looks like she has it all, solid stats, incredible signatures and the two most frustrating weapons to play against. She’s the perfect tilt inducing package. This also means she’s really useful in horde mode.
Her signatures are all decent, lance side sig in particular can control the whole stage making it a decent tool. Scarlet also has access to a hammer meaning she can dish out stupid damage in just a few hits. Her hammer neutral sig is incredible as well. Overall, all this makes her one of the top picks.
1Queen Nai
Queen Nai is perfect for this mode. She has some of the highest damage in the entire game and good defense too. She has access to spear, one of the best weapons for this mode and her signatures are the best in the game for horde mode. Her low speed which is a huge drawback in ranked, doesn’t really matter much for this mode.
Queen Nai players can spam their insane signatures to their heart’s content in this mode. The spear ones are amazing for space control and long range attacks, and the katar ones have a good habit of catching essentially every enemy into them. All of this makesherthe best legendto use for horde mode.
