The pen can be found with Oliver; look in his home to the right of the buses in order to find it. It should be located on his desk. The computer will be abandoned over in Sawdust,whereBear and Breakfastplayers can find Beanie; it’s to the west of her watchtower in the northernmost part of the map. But the third item requires players to be paying attention.

Where is the Book on Spelling in Bear and Breakfast?

When Hank first gets the quest, his bird brother Will will make a comment about how he thinks he has a book somewhere in his room. The line is pretty easy to miss, and anyone who skipped the introductory scenes of the game to get to the good stuff might not remember that Will lives with Hank and his mother.

In order to nab the Book on Spelling, Hank will have to go back to visit his mom. She lives in the Thicket, back where the game began.

The book will be in the bird’s old room; look for a sparkling object to the right. But don’t forget to have a quick chat with mom while Hank is there. She is one of thebest video game momsever because she’ll give Hank some money if he’s ever running low on coins.

After all the stuff is gathered, bring everything back to the beaver in Timber Crossing.
