Battlefield2042has, unfortunately, had more than a few issues since its November 19 launch. DICE has been hard at work trying to solve these issues and has made good progress on the game thus far, butBattlefield 2042players still want to see a few more changes before they are happy with the experience.

The latest issues players have had with the game regards the aim assist mechanic on consoles. Aim assist was supposed to have been patched inBattlefield 2042’s 3.1 patch updatebut many console players have not noticed much of a difference since the update. Fans of the game reached out to the developers on Twitter to report the issue, which prompted one developer to respond and explain that the game’s aim assist mechanic has only been “slightly adjusted” and not fully fixed with more changes still to come.

Players mainly found issue with the mechanic as it was addressed in the patch notes of update 3.1. The patch notes stated, “Made improvements to ensure Aim Assist is more consistent during console gameplay.” This made it sound as though the mechanic had been fixed, though many fans found it to feel sporadic rather than fully fixed, which was what caused the new concerns from players. Aim assist on console has been a hot topic as of late, so it will be interesting to see how DICE approaches the issue going forward.

One very pressing bug that DICE did address in update 3.1 caused someBattlefield 2042players to become invisiblewhen they loaded into a multiplayer match. It was a good move by DICE to patch the issue quickly as it could very easily have been considered game-breaking if it was experienced more frequently by players.

Another slightly less game-breaking glitch that aBattlefield 2042player recently experienced saw a player become trapped inside an Osprey. While it was not a glitch many players would like to experience during an intense multiplayer match, luckily it has not been widely reported thus far.

Despite the game’s difficult launch,Battlefield 2042still seems to be selling particularly well. This is a positive sign as good sales will encourage DICE to continue working on the game and adding new content through updates in order to keep its playerbase satisfied. The good sales also speak to the fact that underneath the bugginess,Battlefield 2042is building block that players should be able to enjoy for some time to come.
