Assassin’s Creed Valhallahas enjoyed a generally positive post-release period, with developers now rolling out the next major update for its popular Viking-themed action RPG. Ubisoft deployed Title Update 1.5.2 at 12 PM UCT or 7 AM Eastern/4 AM Pacific. The patch varies in size from about 7.8 GB on Xbox Consoles down to 1.4 GB on PS4 and introduces a variety of new content and bug fixes.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’sbiggest new featureis the armory building and customization loadout, which Ubisoft teased in April. Players can construct a new Armory building at Ravensthorpe after upgrading the settlement to level 3. The construction costs Foreign Cargo, which players can capture from River Raids. Once built, the Armory lets them create up to five custom equipment loadouts they can swap between on the fly. This allows Valhalla players to create a custom build that benefits specific playstyles and quickly alternate between them as needed. Players unlock the first two loadout slots when they build the Armory and the other three after upgrading it further.
Players will also be able to fill up their Armory with more new gear implemented in Title Update 1.5.2. The update introduces new rewards toAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’sRiver Raids. Introduced by the 1.1.2 update last year, River Raids let players lead increasingly challenging assaults to gather loot and resources. Today’s 1.5.2 update adds new weapons and customization options to the possible rewards. Players will need to revisit the River Raids to gather materials for the Armory and its upgrades, but these new rewards offer them extra incentives.
Finally,Valhalla’slatest Title Update also implements fixes for various bugs and other issues. Several of these relate to problems with story and side quests from the game’s recentDawn of Ragnarokexpansion. These include fixing various quest triggers and ensuring that NPCs spawn and path find correctly. Other changes improve game balance and fix assorted graphics, animation, and audio bugs. The assorted bug fixes offer a variety of improvements, big and small. Similarly, many fans will likely welcome the new River Raid rewards. However, the Armory and its associated features are definitely the most dramatic new additions toAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.
