What Is A Mushroom Mixup?

The Mushroom Mixup is a new sabotage confined to the new map, The Fungle, inAmong Us. Once it is activated, this fungus-fueled sabotagerandomizes everyone’s color, clothing, cosmetics, and even their pets for a total of ten seconds. The names of each crewmate also remain hidden during this time. This opportunity gives impostors the perfect time to kill while they are virtually anonymous.

As a crewmate, this sabotage almost guarantees death and despair. Crew members should try their best to remember the original looks of each player in their vision before the mixup happens and stay away from every one, no matter who they trusted beforehand. Remember: all signs ofsuspicious behavior may indicate the identity of the impostorand should be reported to the group immediately. There is a chancethe crew can still survive, so long as they stay vigilant.

A purple mushroom cloud will once again appear over everyone in the group and return them to their original appearance settings. Even the most skilled and adept of crewmates must adapt to their surroundings and assess their trust.

Close doors to hide bodies, lock players in one area, and slow everyone down from completing their tasks by clicking on the boundaries between rooms. Sabotage crewmates by starting the reactor that will end inan impostor victoryif crewmates do not fix it. Sabotaging the communications will stop indicating crewmates about the locations of their tasks.

Click the mushroom button under the Greenhouse room in the Jungle to start a Mushroom Mixup. Every detail of one’s looks will be swapped. Beware, this effect only lasts for ten seconds, so impostors must make use of this time wisely.
