AMD is partnering with numerous retailers to offer a free copy of Respawn’sStar Wars Jedi: Survivorwith the purchase of select Ryzen 7 processors. Having recently launched the first of itsRadeon RX RDNA 3 graphics cards, “team red” is no stranger to the fierce world of gaming hardware, rivaling Nvidia in terms of GPUs and Intel when it comes to CPUs.
As forStar WarsJedi: Survivor, it’s consideredone of the most anticipated games of 2023, on par with the remakes ofResident Evil 4andDead Space, as well asStarfield. Following on from the success of 2019’sJedi: Fallen Order, this latestStar Warstitle will tell the story of Jedi Knight Cal Kestis some five years after the events of the previous installment. The game is set to launch this March, and no doubt many fans are excited to get their hands on it.

But for those who are in the market for both some new PC hardware andStar WarsJedi: Survivor, there’s a chance to grab a free copy of the game by purchasing the former. More specifically, AMD has said that buyers of its Ryzen 7000 Series processors will receiveStar Wars Jedi: Survivoralongside it. According to the website, the offer is specifically for the Ryzen 7700 and 7700X only. It also doesn’t stipulate what platform the game will be for, but it stands to reason that it will almost certainly be for PC. In any case, it’s worth checking which outlets are participating in the deal.
This is also not the first time team red has done an offer like this. Back in 2021,AMD gave awayFar Cry 6with its 6900 XT GPU, as well asResident Evil Village. While that was a particularly pricey graphics card when it was released, it would almost certainly have been appealing to those who were looking to upgrade their system and have a brand-new game to go with it.
Jedi: Survivoris also not the only game in George Lucas' universe that’s on the horizon. There areplenty ofStar Warsgamesthat are due out soon, with some expected this year.
